At OLO, we started with the idea that the true possibilities of cannabis lay beyond strains, that the perfect experience couldn’t be found with just an indica or a sativa hybrid, but by looking at the most basic components of the herb. We wanted to redefine the cannabis experience, so we applied biochemistry and neuroscience to build something extraordinary. To us, cannabis can be inspiring, it can be expressive, it can be creative, and we wanted to offer all of that in a way that was simple and easy to enjoy. After we’d perfected our proprietary formulas, we hunted for the simplest, most straightforward delivery format and found it in the sublingual strip. Each of our cannabis-infused sublingual strips offers its own distinct experience, opening a new world of possibility.
By looking through the lens of five specific effects of cannabis, the distinct nature of each experience shines through.
The effects of OLO strips can usually be felt around 10-15 minutes after completely dissolving under the tongue.
While you shouldn’t eat or drink anything while the OLO strip is dissolving, afterwards feel free to eat and drink as much as you want. We can’t recommend mixing alcohol with OLO though.
At the moment, we only offer the OLO sublingual strips. However, we plan to offer more products soon. Subscribe to our newsletter to find out more about future releases!
OLO has contracted a top, third-party laboratory to evaluate and certify the quality of our flower and extract blends according to California state standards and our own rigorous benchmarks. In addition, our strips and our facilities themselves are evaluated in accordance with international standards for food safety.
Yes, it’s both!
Nope, we use all natural ingredients.
OLO should be stored at or below room temperature—74ºF—within the sealed foil pouch. The strip may melt if stored at high temperatures.
THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol and is a naturally-occurring chemical compound found in cannabis plants. It is the active ingredient responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis, which is why we list the amount of THC in our products to ensure safe, informed dosing.
Cannabinoids are the chemical compounds found in cannabis that act on the brain’s neurotransmitters. The most prevalent cannabinoid is, of course, THC, but there are over 100 other cannabinoids that may occur in cannabis plants. Terpenes are an organic compound that’s found not just in cannabis, but a wide variety of plants. They’re what gives each strain a distinctive smell and taste. When present in conjunction with cannabinoids, terpenes can contribute to creating certain effects such as alertness or stress relief. This is referred to as the “Entourage Effect.”
All of our cannabis plants come from licensed California farms. OLO works with BAS, a state-of-the-art laboratory in Berkeley, CA, in order to extract and blend the distillates into our proprietary formulas. All of the plants and extracts are carefully tested to make sure they are free from pesticides and any other external contamination.
