Meet our extraordinary account manager, Tiffany Bosch. Follow her journey from working in the hospitality industry to educating customers about the sublingual experience with OLO. All the details are below!
Describe your role at OLO.
I’m an account manager with OLO. My job is to educate retailers, customers, and the public on all things OLO, which includes the sublingual delivery method.
How did you get into the cannabis industry?
I started working at a dispensary after a pretty bad car accident. Previously, I worked in the hospitality industry: GM, Director of Food and Beverage, Operations Manager, etc. Since I enjoyed cannabis and knew it was heading toward recreational [use], I wanted to work from the ground up figuring out what people wanted. It was a natural progression and one that I am very proud of. This industry is just getting warmed up; it will be those brands who listen, grow, and adjust that will survive.
What do you like most about your job?
The cannabis industry has such a wonderful mix of people, personalities, and passions that it makes each day different. Every day I meet brand ambassadors and retail owners — everyone has a story, that’s what makes this industry so unique. Another aspect that I enjoy is the freedom to be myself. Sometimes cannabis has a stigma attached and not everyone fits into that mold. It’s refreshing to be embraced and celebrated for our differences and accepted for what we bring to the table!
What sets OLO apart from other edibles?
Oh, where do I begin — OLO is awesome! For those who don’t want to smoke or eat a sugary edible, we are the “go to”! There is a time and a place for all consumption methods. However, OLO is unique where it’s discreet, you get the same dose every time, it’s fast-acting, AND, best of all, I can choose my own adventure: Active, Social, Focus, or Chill. It’s genius really! AND let’s not forget OLO is vegan, gluten-free, and has zero sugar!
What are the benefits of sublinguals?
Sublinguals are amazing because they dissolve under the tongue in 10-15 seconds and you feel the effects in 10-15 minutes. It’s a quick consumption method for those who don’t want to wait for effects. Another benefit from the sublingual delivery method is you get the full terpene effect; they don’t get broken down by way of the digestive tract. It’s fast and effective.
What is your hope for the cannabis industry in the future?
That’s a tough question. I don’t want Big Pharma to come in and scoop up all the cool brands and farms, but yet, I want everyone to be prosperous. It’s a difficult predicament. Also, I strongly believe that the cannabis industry has a responsibility to be as sustainable as we can. There is so much waste! We need to be an example to all industries in that when you take from the earth, you must also give back. The cannabis industry is about synergy; plant, people, and peace (relief, relaxation, and enjoyment). My hope is that all packaging breaks down and doesn’t disrupt the environment so that we may continue to thrive.
